Buzzy Ethridge is a short track racing legend, at least in the East Tennessee hills near his Flag Pond home. Between winning races and raising a teenage son alone, Buzzy finds time to dream about what it would be like to make it big on the stock car circuit. When that dream comes true, Ethridge finds himself spinning inside a world where all that he once believed is in doubt and everything he always wanted may end up killing him.
